    Qatari Citizens wishing to travel to Switzerland

    Holders of diplomatic or special passports are not required to apply for visa to visit Switzerland.
    Holders of regular passports are required to apply for a visit visa, which must be issued from the nearest embassy of Switzerland (before departure).

    Note: The law banning wearing burqas or niqabs shall be effective in Italian-speaking Ticino County, southern of Switzerland, as of the spring of the 1st of July 2016

    Citizens of Switzerland wishing to travel to Qatar

    Holders of diplomatic or special passports are not required to apply for visa to visit Qatar.
    Holders of regular passports are required to apply for a visit visa, which can be issued from airport/borders of Qatar or from the nearest embassy of Qatar.

    Note: Holders of Schengen visa can enter the Swiss Confederation
